About Rancho Santiago DMC
The Digital Media Center (DMC) was established by the Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) in 2006 as the first facility of its kind in Orange County. The DMC, which houses the TH!NKubator, a shared workspace facility, along with digital media arts classes, a digital music lab, and a TV/Video production studio, was created to stimulate economic growth in the county by attracting emerging businesses to the area and providing educational programs focused in digital media.
The facility is also host to the Orange County Small Business Development Center which provides entrepreneurs with no-charge consulting and low-cost training workshops and seminars to start or expand on small business ventures.
The $13.5 million project was made possible through a collaborative effort among RSCCD, Santa Ana College, the City of Santa Ana, the U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and WRJ Group.
